Steve Kornspan is a top real estate broker highly experienced in buying and selling homes across the Kansas City area. Prior to founding Home Spot Realty, he was affiliated with firms including Coldwell Banker, Prudential, and Re/Max. Today, Steve is one of the top 2% of Kansas City area agents in annual sales.
Steve founded Home Spot Realty on two guiding principles:

In addition to serving clients, Steve prioritizes staying current with latest trends and regulations in the real estate industry. As an active member of the Kansas City and Kansas State Associations of Realtors, Steve is able to learn from and teach other real estate professionals.
When buying or selling a home, we know that life can bring both obstacles as well as good fortune. Steve knows it takes experience and education to deal with both, and he and his team will walk away from any sale before ever doing what is not what in the best interest of the client.
Tony has done it all – home remodeling, rehabbing, flipping, and rental properties. His years of experience is a valuable resource when it comes to knowing what to repair, what to remodel, and what to resolve during the inspection process. He knows houses and can guide you through what is needed to get your home sold.
Buying or selling a home can seem complicated, but with Tony on your team, it will go smoothly. The Home Spot Team once had a seller’s home with peeling paint that wouldn’t pass FHA inspection; Tony went right out with his paint sprayer, and before long, the home sold. There are very few things that Tony has not seen in a house, and no one will give you a more honest home appraisal than Tony.
Tony’s philosophy for rehab investment is reflected in our own – if you are going to spend a dollar, you need a return of 2 to 3 dollars when you are preparing a home for sale.
Helping people is Aaron’s mission.
Aaron is an experienced real estate broker who has spent the last ten years guiding buyers and sellers through the real estate transaction process. He has extensive experience with investment properties, rehab properties, rental properties, and just helping people buy and sell homes.
As a devoted husband and father of two, Aaron understands that his clients’ number one priority is the well-being of their families. Aaron approaches every sale and purchase with this mindset, as well as with a smile and friendly handshake.
Getting his real estate brokers license and learning how to help people buy and sell homes came easy to Fred. He is detailed, organized, and knowledgeable in all aspects of real estate. Being an accomplished insurance adjuster created a solid foundation to understanding houses. Before helping his many clients buy and sell homes, his own experience included buying and rehabilitating several personal properties, including a downtown Kansas City condo he maintains as a rental property.
When not helping clients, Fred spends his time with his wife and two young daughters and serves on the board of a local non-profit, The Dream Factory.
You will not meet a nicer person than Dan Thomson, and there are few real estate agents with more experience. Dan closes over 50 transactions per year and is an expert on investment property, rehab, flipping, condos, and owner-occupied properties.
Dan understands complex financing issues on economic development projects and will do anything in his power to help clients by or sell a home. We have caught him repairing decks, removing hot tubs, hauling rocks, and even repairing faulty light switches for his clients.
Dan is also an expert at home repair and remodeling. When he is not out helping clients, you can typically find him working on his relatives’ homes.
Wendy is the Realtor that keeps the machine running. She has closed more transactions than 90% of the Realtors in Kansas City.
At Home Spot Realty, we take on-time closings very seriously. Wendy is the person that make sure it happens. In a typical transaction there are many people involved – buyers, sellers, title companies, mortgage companies and various repair contractors. Keeping them all on the same page is critical to ensure an on-time closing.
A typical real estate transaction contains 50 to 200 pages of documents that must be all properly signed and organized for state regulators. Wendy thrives on making sure everything is perfect. She sweats the details, so you don’t have to.
